Description

This is a short little demo that I cooked up to show the new and
improved turret setup for the Raindance map.  This setup is quite
effective against enemy intruders, trust me on that one.  The turrets
that are placed on the very top level are able to shoot intruders as
soon as they drop into the base.  If the intruders take one step
forward the turrets from down below will also fire at them.  The
turret by the generator will cover the left side of the entrance
while the one on the lowest level covers the right side of the
entrance.  Also, both of these turrets cover the bottom level.

I just want to say a few words to the people who think that they have
a pretty good turret setup because they place their turrets on the
little ledges which are above the inventory and ammo station on the
top level.  If you place your turrets there then you are seriously
limiting their field of fire and coverage of the front entrance.  If
you place your turrets there an intruder can drop down the entrance
into the base and stand there without being fired upon because the
turrets on the ledges will not see him.  I have seen a lot of players
do just that and proceed to destroy the enemy inventory stations from
that safe position.

However, if you place the turrets on the corners of the V shaped ledge
just behind the command station, those turrets will be able to
immediately fire at any intruders who drop down the front entrance
without the intruders actually seeing those turrets. The field of fire
and coverage of the front entrance for those turrets is amazing.  Any
enemy who drops down the entrance is immediately fired upon and
chewed up into pieces without ever seeing the turrets.

The real treat in this demo is the display of the best usage of the
grenade launcher.  I show how to angle the shots in the correct manner
in order to destroy those nasty and annoying enemy turrets which are
located on the top level of the enemy base without ever entering the
base.  I also show the proper angle for destroying the enemy inventory
station, which when done properly and repeatedly drives the enemy
absolutely crazy since they never see you.  All of this is done from
outside the enemy base.  Amazing huh?  It's all in the angles, just
like billiards.
